Im going to work!!

So we all woke up on Thursday morning and Josh was getting ready for work. I was taking care of Brandon changing him and getting him fed. All the sudden Ella comes in Letting us know that she was going to work With Daddy! She said" I have to go to work today with Daddy"! This is what a two year old puts together to go to work with Daddy!

Yes she even put her shoes one!

Notice her briefcase of toys and books. She was so sad when Josh left with out her. I gave her something to eat and she calmed down but continually kept asking where Daddy was!

Later that she was playing and she got caught between the wall and the toy box she was playing in!

Two for one special!

So Thursday makes two. Last week Risa went in for surgery and had her gall bladder removed due to gall stones. Thursday Jennie had woken up in the middle of the night in pain. She still took her kids to the amusement park...came home early cuz she still felt Yucky. I came at 5 to see how she was doing and help her with some things. I went with her to drop her boys off at visitation and she was hurting the whole time. How ever when we got back the Super pain Took over and I push her and Jim out the door. They left the house at about 6:30 and we heard the next morning at nine that they were taking Jennie in for surgery. She had a gall stone that had blocked her pancreas and they were both infected very bad. they operated later that day and she seems to be doing much better. So that is the news, she had surgery yesterday and came home this morning. So Jen and Risa are on the mend. just keep them in your prayers! I will how ever post on the web site pics of the kids while they were with me this weekend. they are funny kids! those come tomorrow!

Huh? Ella say what?

So for the last little while Ella has been saying something that sounds like Oh Shit...and I have wondered where she might have heard that from...so I was worried that my daughter had turrets! Well a while later we are in the car listening to radio Disney and the song push it came on and all the kid start to sing and out of no where I here Ella's little voice singing. Now the lyrics are " we gotta push it, push it, to the limit, limit" well Ella is singing Oh shit oh shit to the limit. I started laugh... a hair relieved that she just was hearing the words wrong and that she wasn't going to need therapy for turrets! cuz I knew she didn't pick it up at home! Not to mention it was the funniest thing in the world to hear this little girl sing that!

Sorry...for taking so long!

Sorry that it has taken me so long to do another blog. I have been sick, making a quilt, reading Harry potter and the deathly hollows, Being a mom and a wife. I can't believe how much time I haven't had! So here goes the latest for his week! Brandon just had his first tooth break through. I would have to say that Ella teethed a lot better than Brandon. Brandon was tossing and turning for that last week and a half. He has had fevers and a runny nose. He just had this tooth kick his little butt! Ella never even broke a sweat while she was teething...it just didn't bother her at all!

I had my quilt here to check to see how it is fitting on my bed and I forgot to take a picture of where I am at on it...I will try and do that soon. I have been sewing at Jennie's house because there is a Little more space there ( her garage). That is why it is not here.

So I get into the car today and Ella looks at me and says " so help me mom"! I am not sure what I did wrong...but there you go!

As for Brandon adventure...we went to the movies with Jen and the crew....this weeks dollar movie was hoodwinked. there was a spot in the movie where the wolf jumps out of a bush and Brandon was sitting up on my lap...when the wolf jumped out he flew back wards onto my chest...it was kinda funny!

I know the pictures have nothing to do with what I wrote I just wanted to add some pictures.

Ella!

So today was the first time we took Ella to a movie theater to watch a movie. We have a theater here that on wens they have a morning movie for a dollar. Today was Doogal a movie about this really hairy dog. It was a cartoon that came out a yr ago or something. The whole time she was giggle and saying things like"he did it" and "whoa" and she would talk to the character's on the screen. It was fun. She was entertain the whole time we were there! She wants to go back next week and for a dollar I think we can...I only have to pay for me to get in.

On another funny note. today we were driving home and I was talking to josh on the speaker of my cell phone while I drove home. then Ella said that she wanted to talk to daddy...so I passed her back the phone....she dropped it and started yelling sorry dad...did you crack your coconut??? (that is what I say when she bonks her head)!

I could hear josh Laughing really hard from the phone!

Today was a good day!

Exploring the unknown!

Brandon is loving his new ability to travel to places in the house he wasn't able to go on his own. He has found that he isn't always met with easy trails. He is seeing that he can go and do all these things he See's Ella doing. I have to pay more attention to him. He is so fast and so determined to do everything now. He is also a bit daring he is trying to stand and then let go of his support....but at least he is not falling back and bumping his head any more...he found his diaper and butt are a much happier landing! His face is so bruised from trying to climb things and having his hand slip and he seems to nail his face and head...we look like we are torturing him...I feel so bad for him. He is more daring and more ambitious than Ella and she was quite feisty herself! Here are some of his adventures...most of them were all in one day!

He is now making it down the hallway. HE has made it to the bathroom, Ella's destroyed bedroom and our bedroom....

he has also found that he can pull himself up to things and see what is going on up there!

I guess He wanted to see what it looks like on the other side of his jumpy!

ARGGGH is any one really out there?

I started this blog in the attempts to make it so that family could see the kids and be a little more apart of the family and see what we are doing here in sunny California. I however think that my attempts at making this happened have failed...well at least for my husbands side of the family. I know that some of my family looks at the site and leaves comments. I feel really bad because I want them to see the kids and I want them to be a part of our lives...as much as any one can be with the distance. I work really hard to keep these up to date if not bi-weekly, then weekly. But I fear it is in vain. I am wondering if I put to much time and energy into something that is not being used? I know that Josh was very excited that I took this on and was happy to have something to show off to friends and family. I guess I just am sad that they don't view it and enjoy the kids and the stories that I am sharing. I know that when I read other families blogs I feel like I Have been a part of the story even though I am not there. I just hope that our families see this and know that we do think of them and want them to be apart of our lives.

I have a few bloggers out there who I know look every day and I promise to try and keep up on this...and my web site (which by the way I am now doing my best to make different from this site). I just hope people aren't to shy to leave comments even if it is just saying hi and that they were here. That is fun to see and I am excited to know that they are out there. Any way that is just me wanting you all to know that we do this because we love and think about you and miss you!

it's like Poof!

my not so little boy when he was little!

it all starts with him rolling over and he does that for a few weeks then all the sudden he is crawling. Then you finding him standing in his crib and all of the sudden he can get himself into sitting up and on his knees looking around like he is a pro! I can't handle all this growing up.

So today is the day! he is standing! Brandon found that in his crib he can pull himself to standing really easy. He was really happy with himself... all full of smiles and giggles at his new triumph! Man they just can't wait to grow up!!!

I figure that is the best title since you are the only one who leaves comments and seems to be reading my blog! The news about the kids is Brandon is starting to climb things to sit and and is trying hard to stand on his own. He is crawling about 5 "steps" for lack of a better term. He is trying to grow up so fast and it makes me sad...

Ella is doing better at the potty training.she had done so well for so long and the elapsed she would go in the potty once here and then in her pants there. When we go to Jen's she would rather play then stop to go potty so I had to be on top of the potty thing again. but she is back to using the proper place and not her car trunk any more!

I am taking on a new dress for Ella and two more quilts I will show you pics when i am done... that is our news...

FUNNY STUFF!!!

So we were watching tv the other day and there is a comercial on with people playing with colored sparklers and they are drawing pictures with with the sparklers...Ella looks up and starts watching the comercial and says "they left the lights on"!

It's offcial!

Today is the day that Brandon started crawling! Yep he is a big boy. He can do two crawls and then he lunges himself at what ever he is heading for. I think he would crawl farther if we would dangle paper in front of him. He loves paper! He has been rolling around for about 2 months and has gotten very good and maneuvering around anything! I am excited for him and yet at the same time not looking forward to his freedom...and explorations! Go Brandon!

just another day...

Hi every one,
I would have to say that this weekend was so nice! we just spent time together, went to the park, and got some stuff done. We had a nice time just relaxing. There is not alot to show or say but, after josh worked the last two weekends it was nice to have him home...I was getting josh sick and missing spending our time together. Any way not to much new happening...Oh I am starting on a new quilt...here is a picture of my first quilt I have ever made. I made it for ella...By the way this is the first think I have ever sewn.





the back and front are similar I loved the bright colors I learned it at church it is called quilt in a day...and taht is really all it took me to make it!

The BIG Day 4!

So for about 2 months we had been preparing for Jessie to come while her parents we in New York. We had planned a trip to Great American because we wanted her stay with us to be extra fun. We found out the night before that Josh wasn't going to get to go with us due to work. I was worried that we weren't going to be able to go. I didn't know how I would get little ones on and off of rides with another in a stroller. I have never claimed to be wonder woman Or Super mom. I found a lady in my ward here to Baby sit Brandon (Brandon has a crush on her) and we were a go for launch!
We got up bright and early and got dressed and ready to roll. We drove Brandon to the baby sitter and we hit the road. The Amusement park is only 10 Min's. from our house so we got there quick here are a few things we got to go and do.

After the ride we watched a kids show where the kids get slimed and messy...we left there and we ran into Dora and Diego...Much to Ella and Jessie excitement!!

Then we got there faces painted they loved that!

we were off on rides again and here are a few we went on...

This is a free fall ride for kids and Ella asks to go on it every time...I can not for the life of me figure out why...by the next pics!

I laugh every time I see this picture...people stop watching their kids to watch Ella because of the faces she makes...and yet she asks to go on it every time!
they think that faster the row this thing the faster they go...

they call this the pop corn ride because it makes a popping noise when it is in motion!

And the last ride we went on the was the double Decker carousel where Jessie had to be on the top level....Kids are so silly!

After we got home they played for a little bit and then we went to McDonald's that had a play land and ended up at Jens to feed the cat and bird. they played for a little longer and we went home and they went straight to bed.

they were so tired they never knew I took this picture! they fell asleep the moment their heads hit the pillow. And that is how we ended the Ella and Jessie "sleep over"!

So last night we went to the pool with Jen, Jim, Tiffany, Jessie and some girls that we know. We have been coaxing Ella back into the pool ever since her tragic Water exploration that ended in an over her head experiance...she has been protesting the pool. It took josh taking her out in a floaty that you sit it and showing her that he wasn't holding on to her, for her to realize that she was safe. She is a silly girl! Brandon has a similar floaty and was happy to be kicking and floating away. and would kick and float and suck on the floaty. I eventually took him out and we spashed around for a while. He is a little frog! We even got Jessie off the steps and out into the pool in a floaty...she use to freak out at even the thought of leaving the steps. I took her out a bit and let her see that I wasn't holding on to her. After that she didnt want me to touch her any more and off she wentAs a side note we spend lots of time with Jennie and she knows her like her own mother...in fact I wonder if she thinks Jen might be her 2nd mother sometimes. she calls her Aunt jennie, Jelly bean, (that is jennies nick name for Ella but she calls jennie it back sometimes) and she just say hey Jen sometimes. After a while Ella got out to sit by Jen and hang out for a min. Then she came back to have me take her out into the water without a floaty and she looks up at Jim and yells "BYE JIM" and then looks and Jen and Yells "BYE LADY".....

the 4th of July

Well it started out fun we had all the kids crawl in bed with us and we giggled and played for about 30 Min's. by then it was time to get up and get what we were making ready to go. we got up and fed the kids and started on making food. It was a nice relaxing day and I was happy that josh was home. ( he has been working a lot of overtime due to end of quarter push time)
So we are finishing up what we were doing when Ella runs in from the patio yelling all excited that she had gone Poo poo! It was on her bum and legs...then the worried bells went off. Josh took her to the potty to clean up and I went on the Poo poo Hunt(what a fun hunt)! I looked in my living room and on the patio and there was nothing there. I didn't see anything...But I kept smelling it, which worried me. So I went down the hall where josh was cleaning her up and said "Ella where did you go poo poo at?" and she said "in the car"! I gave josh the look of OH GREAT another fun filled cleaning adventure in the life of parents. I walked out to this toy car (Ella can sit in the car while some one pushes it from behind) and looked around it I couldn't see it...the last place to look was the trunk! I opened the trunk and there sat her newly found toilet! I was not laughing. How ever after I showed josh I started too. I guess it looked similar to a toilet with the trunk lid open! Hope you all had good 4Th too!

Day 3 of the girlies

So day three was My laundry day! My sister told me I could use her washer and dryer so I took full advantage of this offer. I hauled all three kids over to my sister house to get all my laundry done. I got the kids in, we fed the cat and bird. Then I opened the back door to the wild world of DIRT! The girls took off and I did too, off to get laundry done. The girls played and got dirty and I scrap booked hung out with Brandon and Kept the wash going. I was happy! I finally got the last of the scrapbook I was doing for grandpa Steve and grandma Lorrie Done ( I am Mailing it soon!)

After a while Jessie made it Clear she was getting a little mommy and daddy sick...Now I don't say home sick...due to the fact we were at her home. I looked at the clock and hoped we would have time to call before they had left for the premier. We did and I got Jen on the phone...Of course there were tears and then happiness and excitement...Because tomorrow was talks of going to GREAT AMERICA (it is an amusement park similar to Lagoon or six flags).

I learned the hard way that Jessie saves her Americana clothes for great America...because its great AMERICA. I had tried to put her in one of the three Americana outfits in her suit case and she said I cant wear that it is for great America...I had to find something else! See how fun it was today!

We did fit in some swimming today. We have a pool at the Apartments and we took the floats and three kids out for a afternoon swim.

After we got to the pool we got Ella and Jessie in floaty things that you sit in. They sat in them on the stairs! They were SUPER SAFE(scared). Last week Ella thought she could venture off the stairs...needless to say I had turned to deal with Brandon and that is all it took. I looked back around and she was under looking up at me...with this terrified look on her face...josh jumped back in....she hadn't even swallowed water...she was just happy to be able to breath again! That is why this time she wanted nothing to do with that water. I know we need to slowly teach her how to swim and get use to the water again so that she wont drowned. But she wanted nothing to do with the pool after a while. Brandon and Jessie on the other had were water babies and loved the water TONS. (I forgot to take the camera to the pool). Ella and I went home while the others played for about 20 more Minutes. It was a fun filled day!

Day three was fun, but wait till day four....I have great America pictures....and they are good.

Day Two....

Day two wasn’t so Exciting…We did start with a some Funny pictures of the three of them…(Brandon) is our third amigo!

Jessica is a big Fan of brandon…

its not that she doesn’t know his name!
it is that she likes that as a nick name!
Ella of course can’t resist being in Pictures or being with out Brandon…
and letting Jessie have him all to herself (she is very Jelouse).

They had baths and played, watched movies, went over to Jessie’s house and played in the dirt, and trampoline, then came home and had another bath. This made me realize how much I had been taking pictures because, after the bath Ella starts yelling Take a picture mom…

Is this Working???

Ok so a bit of frustration. I am working really hard on keeping up this blog weekly...not to mention the website but, I feel like there are only a couple of people even checking it out. Mel you are my #1 fan right now. I am starting to wonder if I am putting a lot of time and energy into something that I shouldn't be. Am I just hoping that the family is checking it out...or are people really checking it out? I have been feeling guilty that josh's family (Not to mention my parents and Brothers) are not getting to see the kids grow up...and we are not able to visit as often as we all would like. I am starting to wonder if this site is even being viewed????

Should I quit or are there people really wanting to view my blog and site?

This is just me venting frustrating...off to shower!
